“This skill is pretty handy. From now on, I’ll use it to exchange for these things.” Mu Yang thought to himself.

“Mu Yang, don’t worry about your sister. Last time she suddenly took your parents somewhere for a trip, didn’t she? She didn’t say anything beforehand. It’s probably the same this time. You’ll be alone for two or three months, and then they’ll probably come back. There’s no need to worry. If it gets too much, you can stay at my place. My house isn’t big, but it can fit two people,” Kaneki said, noticing Mu Yang was spacing out.

Mu Yang paused, glanced at Kaneki, and felt no sense of discord. He realized this was the world consciousness implanting memories into Kaneki—though he wasn’t sure what exactly had been implanted.

Just as Mu Yang was about to tidy up the current storyline, Kaneki spoke again, “Don’t think negatively. Your parents will be fine. How about I buy you a cup of coffee? I’ve heard the antique coffee shop in the 20th Ward is really good.”

“The antique coffee shop? Today?” Mu Yang asked.

“Silly, did you forget what day it is? We have class today. I’ll take you for coffee tomorrow. Oh, and Hide will come too,” Kaneki replied.

“All right, remember to call me tomorrow,” Mu Yang answered, then thought to himself, The plot should officially start tomorrow. Hopefully, the Paradise Travelers aren’t so crazy as to team up and attack the antique coffee shop.
