Chapter 102: Preparing to Depart
Mu Yang’s vision had turned bloodshot; the initial count of several hundred park travelers had dwindled to just over twenty, all desperately resisting with death lurking at a mere lapse of attention. Although Izumi Takatsuki had endured multiple massacres before, the scene before him stunned him into silence—blood, shattered flesh, and entrails strewn everywhere. The orchestrator of this carnage was none other than the Shepherd Lord, who had been calmly conversing with him just yesterday.
The mask that Mu Yang wore twisted his smile into something chilling, the intricate patterns shimmering with a sinister allure under the reflection of blood. He now resembled an infernal judge, executing legions of doomed souls. Each misstep from a park traveler was met with a swift and brutal death—one such mistake cost a traveler his life as Mu Yang severed him at the waist.
But Izumi Takatsuki, as the leader of the Bronze Tree, quickly regained his composure and joined Mu Yang to eradicate the remaining park travelers. With Takatsuki’s aid, the last resistance of the park travelers collapsed like a camel broken by the final straw.

After slaying the last park traveler, the Godslayer, Hunter, Spirit Seer, and Apocalypse Knight—four privileged park figures—were teleported into the world. Upon arrival, their attributes would be reduced by twenty percent, while the four parks would receive compensation from a portion of the Ghoul World’s collective consciousness.
“Host, the world consciousness has betrayed us; four privileged park figures will be teleported into this world,” the system announced.
“What? The world consciousness betrayed us? What does that mean?” Mu Yang, just snapping out of the killing frenzy, heard the system’s sudden warning.
“The Ghoul World consciousness has allied with the parks to kill you, Host.”
“Why is this happening all of a sudden?” Mu Yang asked anxiously.
“The teleporters are about to arrive...”
“3... 2... 1...”
“System interception in progress... interference from world consciousness detected... interception failed...”
“Sending betrayal alert to headquarters; Ghoul World barriers are closing...”
“The Ghoul World barriers have closed; numerous park travelers will enter this world. Host, please evacuate immediately.”
Mu Yang understood the gravity of the situation—he needed to escape the Ghoul World swiftly. Yet, there were still tasks at hand. He approached Izumi Takatsuki, handing him an equality contract. “You decide whether to sign it. If you refuse, you will die.”
Without waiting for a response, Mu Yang left Takatsuki and headed toward the Store Manager. Minutes later, after giving the master-servant contract to the manager, he dashed toward Kaneki’s location.
At that moment, the Hunter from Winter’s Park appeared, one hand gripping a longbow, the other holding an arrow, poised to shoot at Mu Yang at any moment.
But Mu Yang had no time to waste battling the Hunter here; he charged toward Kaneki instead.
The Hunter frowned and released the arrow, which struck Mu Yang’s leg. The bow’s power was formidable, yet since the arrow pierced directly through his calf, Mu Yang only momentarily faltered before regaining his footing, unscathed.
Reaching Kaneki, Mu Yang handed him the equality contract. With that done, he prepared to deal with the Hunter who had been tailing him relentlessly...
