Su Waning’s indiscriminate attacks splashed onto Yu Xin, and since she had chosen thin and see-through fabrics yesterday for the sake of beauty, she was now drenched, utterly disheveled. Ignoring Yin Shanshan behind her, Yu Xin turned and ran away.

By the end of the Water Splash Festival, everyone was soaked through, even Feng Rui’s hair had become a tangled mess thanks to Mingming’s handiwork. Only Su Waning remained fresh and composed; though there were traces of water on her clothes, she was clearly far less bedraggled than the others. Knowing about the festival in advance, she hadn’t applied any makeup, instead donning distinctive ethnic attire. Her fair, delicate skin was exposed at her chest, accentuating her slender neck and prominent clavicles. Her face was breathtakingly beautiful, and even without makeup, an alluring charm lingered at the corners of her eyes and brows—so captivating that a single glance made it impossible to look away.

As the camera swept over them, viewers in the live broadcast room were all marveling at Su Waning’s beauty. Even Wang Zan behind the camera was momentarily distracted, murmuring unconsciously to Chen Rui beside him, “Honestly, Su Waning truly has the potential to become a top superstar.”

With the Water Splash Festival behind them, the final day of filming in Yunshui Village quickly arrived. The director didn’t assign any difficult tasks for this last day, simply allowing everyone to thoroughly explore the village, and in the afternoon, led them to the town’s botanical garden.

This was a famous scenic spot, though its remote location meant it wasn’t well known. Su Waning had prepared in advance, and now spoke confidently to the camera. “This botanical garden is nestled at the foot of Mount Ming, bordering the Yunshui scenic area to the north, and was established four years ago.”

Inside, everyone encountered many exotic flowers and plants they’d never seen before. Su Waning eagerly introduced the children to numerous medicinal plants, describing their properties and uses with clarity and precision.

“I can’t believe how quickly time has passed,” Yin Shanshan sighed softly.

Yu Xin, on the other hand, wiped away tears. “I really can’t bear to leave this place. I’ll definitely bring my family here to visit someday.”

The viewers in the live room shared their sentiments, all voicing their reluctance, when Wang Zan joyfully announced a new decision from the production team.

“Thank you all for your cooperation these past days. The show’s results have far exceeded our expectations, so the production team has decided to reward everyone with a trip—departing tomorrow!”

Upon hearing about the trip, the children rushed over, clamoring to ask Wang Zan where they would go, but he only smiled mysteriously and urged everyone to rest early and gather here first thing in the morning.

The next morning, bleary-eyed children boarded a coach to the airport with their four parents. Blissfully unaware, they had no idea what great challenge awaited them.

At the airport, the director handed out their plane tickets.

“We’re going to the grasslands!”

“Where the wind bends the grass and cattle and sheep appear—looks like the production team has really gone all out this time!”

Gathered together, they gazed at the destination on their tickets, faces alight with excitement.

Su Waning glanced at the children’s tickets and immediately sensed something amiss.

“Director, why are the children’s departure times half an hour later than ours?”

As Su Waning spoke, the other three checked their children’s tickets as well.

Niannian grew anxious, not about flying alone, but about Su Waning. With surprising concern, he clutched Su Waning’s hand and asked, “Mom, if you fly alone, what if you get lost?”

Everyone burst into laughter.

But Yu Xin’s words did nothing to soothe Daxi, who cried harder, and Yu Xin’s patience began to wear thin.

Su Waning suppressed her own worries and, unlike the others, made no attempt to comfort the children, adopting a carefree demeanor.

“I’ll take good care of myself, so you don’t need to worry. How about this—once you complete the task, we’ll give you a reward, all right?”

Niannian, who had been uneasy, instantly perked up.

“What reward?”

Su Waning arched her brows mysteriously, “You’ll find out soon enough.”

The airport broadcast sounded, and the director reminded everyone, “Mothers, your flight is about to board now.”
