VIP Chapter 111: Please Don’t Force Me to Take Action
Almost simultaneously, Red Five landed a heavy punch on Ye Dajun’s lower abdomen, doubling him over like a shrimp; his face flushed deep red from the sudden lack of oxygen.
Ye Dajun gritted his teeth, attempting to straighten up and retaliate, but two men in sunglasses pinned his shoulders from either side. They each landed a heavy punch directly into his gut. Ye Dajun let out a muffled groan, his feet lifting off the ground from the force, but since they kept his shoulders pinned, he couldn't break free and was left gasping for air while bent at the waist.
Tie Tou shook his hands, stripped off his shirt, and threw it to the ground, revealing his well-muscled arms. He clenched his fists and swung at Red Five, but his strike was intercepted halfway by another man in sunglasses. The man looked bulky, yet his arms seemed boneless as he tightly coiled around Tie Tou’s right arm, his entire body pressing against him. Tie Tou’s expression changed, and he let out a low cry: "The Eighteen Falls of Clinging Clothes? Are you from the Ancient Martial Arts sect?"
The man in sunglasses didn't answer; he acted like a desperate, flamboyant homosexual, persistently cuddling up to Tie Tou. Tie Tou recoiled as if he had encountered a plague, desperate to avoid the contact.
Chen Tianfeng clenched his fists and glanced at Chen Ergou beside him. Ergou looked back, and the two brothers exchanged a look that no one else could decipher. Two men in sunglasses had already marked them, standing guard with wary eyes. Chen Tianfeng shrugged and said, "They are Martial Guards, and we're just martial arts practitioners—what's the point of fighting?"
Chen Ergou added helplessly, "The boss is already down, and we don't even know if he's alive or dead. To throw our lives away now would just be stupid."
Hao Liuzhi exhaled and said, "That’s more like it. I thought you two were actually planning to fight!"
The two men in sunglasses curled their lips in disdain. One of them pointed toward the lobby and commanded, "Get in there yourselves and wait quietly!"
Chen Tianfeng nodded, but the moment he turned, he smashed his fist into the man's temple. At the same time, Chen Ergou lifted his leg and kicked the other man squarely in the crotch, cursing indignantly, "Damn it, that eunuch Huo dares to use my signature move? If we’re talking about crotch-kicking, I’m the grandmaster of this technique!"
The two men, who had been busy acting cool, were instantly neutralized. They didn't even have time to scream before they collapsed to the floor. Nearby, their companions stared in shock, unable to believe that their colleagues had been knocked unconscious by Chen Tianfeng and Chen Ergou.
Chen Tianfeng quietly tucked the steel wrist weights he’d been holding into his pocket, assumed an air of nonchalance, and raised his hands obediently as the other men in sunglasses approached. Hao Liuzhi also raised his hands in resignation, grumbling at the duo, "I told you not to fight! They have guns!"
Meanwhile, Tie Tou was finally caught by the "flamboyant" man. He felt as if he had hugged a giant hedgehog; he was sent flying over a meter away, landing on the ground unable to get back up for a long time.
Though it takes time to describe, all of this happened in a matter of minutes. From the moment Ye Xiaoxuan was sent flying into the lobby until Tie Tou was brought down, only two or three minutes had passed. Nine-Headed Snake walked into the lobby and turned to his subordinates, saying, "Drag them all upstairs!"
Guan Ling’s face had turned pale from the unfolding horror. She was an intern who had graduated from the police academy only this year—full of passion but lacking experience. She never imagined these people would be so audacious as to ram and kill someone in broad daylight, nor did she expect them to brandish firearms in front of a police officer. She didn't know what to say anymore; being known as the "living computer" of the local station meant she wasn't a fool. She wouldn't waste her breath asking naive questions like "Do you dare to shoot? Do you dare to kill a cop?" because she realized these people were completely lawless.
Her mind was a blank slate as she stared at Ye Xiaoxuan lying in the lobby. Without needing to be prompted, she walked over and knelt beside him. His eyes were tightly shut, his face covered in glass shards, looking as if he were merely sleeping.
*What a pity,* she thought. *He died because of me.* They had only met once, and she had disliked him at the time, yet he had...
Guan Ling’s eyes grew red, and she lowered her head, only to notice another girl standing nearby, looking down at Ye Xiaoxuan with a sorrowful expression. The girl shook her head and then caught Guan Ling’s gaze.
*What a beautiful girl! Is she Ye Xiaoxuan’s girlfriend?* Both girls had the same thought the moment they saw each other. Yuan Caiyi was ethereal and refined, her long hair giving her the air of a fairy. Guan Ling had a round face and perky lips, her short hair making her look both capable and cute.
The two girls nodded at each other and began carefully picking glass shards off Ye Xiaoxuan. They both stopped at the same time, staring in shock at Ye Xiaoxuan’s chest.
Nine-Headed Snake spoke impatiently, "Hurry up and drag those guys upstairs! Take this dead one up too; find a chance to bury him. The bar staff, clean this place up. Seal the mouths of those bumpkins outside—anyone who talks gets killed!"
The man seemed quite thorough in his arrangements. But just as he finished speaking, he turned his head and let out a blood-curdling scream, which aggravated the wound on his leg. He winced in pain and shouted at the person in front of him, "You’re not dead?!"
Ye Xiaoxuan retorted, "I’ll 'not dead' your mother! You're the one who's dead! That hit was quite painful, though. The impact was so strong I couldn't handle it and needed a rest, but I feel much better now!"
Nine-Headed Snake was dumbfounded. Not just him, but everyone present stood frozen, staring blankly at Ye Xiaoxuan. Everyone had seen it—Ye Xiaoxuan had been sent flying five or six meters, crashing through a glass door. Even if he were lucky enough to survive, he should have at least had both legs broken. Yet, here he was, standing before them as if he had just tripped while walking and had only stopped to brush off the dust.
Red Five was the first to react. "A Martial King?" he gasped, reaching into his jacket and pulling out a gun with a *swish*.
He was fast, but someone was faster. The impact had sent Ye Xiaoxuan’s internal energy into a frenzy; the cold energy he’d felt earlier while with the girl had collided with his internal heat, making him feel as if he were about to explode.
He had been looking for a way to vent, and seeing Red Five pull a gun, he reached out his left hand and snatched it away in a flash. His right hand moved like a ghost, diving into Nine-Headed Snake’s jacket to retrieve another gun. He spread his arms wide, pointing both guns at the foreheads of Nine-Headed Snake and Red Five.
"Please, don't force me to fight, okay? I’m begging you," Ye Xiaoxuan said with a helpless look as he aimed the guns at their heads. "I really don't like killing people—don't force me!"
