Regarding the Modifier

I often see people questioning the protagonist’s golden finger. I originally planned to address this in the story, but I’ll explain it now.

The three templates of the protagonist’s modifier are attached to the Gu Yue Bird, which is why it has changed so much. Whenever it senses the protagonist’s intense desires, it will activate—note, it must be intense.

For example, when the protagonist was starving in the forest earlier, he sought food. Now, feeling the protagonist’s fervent desire to earn money and tame new spirits, the Gu Yue Bird will pick up stones and catch Ya Ya.

Later, when the protagonist wishes to make modifications, it will do so then.
