In the bustling classroom, Zhang Zhimeng was excitedly sharing a book she had read over the weekend with Lu Xinyi. She had barely started when Lu Xinyi frowned and impatiently interrupted, "Oh, I know that book. It’s not very good; stop talking about it." Zhang Zhimeng froze, the corners of her mouth drooping slightly.

Just then, Mangdela walked over. Zhang Zhimeng tried talking to him about a new movie, but before she could finish, Mangdela laughed loudly, "That movie is super boring. I already saw it. Let’s change the subject." Zhang Zhimeng’s face was filled with disappointment.

Ding Xuanyin, who had been watching from the side, could no longer stand it. She walked over to Zhang Zhimeng, gently tapped her on the shoulder, and then said seriously to Lu Xinyi and Mangdela, "Interrupting Zhimeng like that is very rude. Everyone has different feelings and thoughts; even if you aren't interested, you should still respect her right to express herself." Lu Xinyi huffed dismissively, "What’s the big deal? What she’s saying really isn't interesting." Ding Xuanyin looked at her sternly, "Even if you find it boring, listening patiently is the most basic form of politeness. Zhimeng is willing to share because she considers you friends, and what you’re doing is hurtful." Mangdela scratched his head, looking a bit embarrassed, "I just said it without thinking." Ding Xuanyin looked at them both, her tone softening, "We are all classmates. With more respect and understanding, our interactions will be much more pleasant." Zhang Zhimeng looked at Ding Xuanyin with gratitude, and Ding Xuanyin gave her a warm smile in return, "Don't take it to heart. Anything you want to share in the future, I am always willing to listen."
