Chapter Sixty: Now Everything Is Settled
After dinner, Yuan Zhong sliced another plate of fruit. At first, Qi Leyi didn’t pay much attention, but when she noticed Yuan Zhong lingering, she asked, “Is something on your mind?”
Yuan Zhong shook her head. “I just ate a bit too much. I thought I’d move around a little.”
Qi Leyi paid her no more mind and opened her game, getting ready for a match.
Yuan Zhong sighed inwardly and edged closer, reminding her, “Don’t you need to practice your calligraphy?”
“I’m taking a break,” Qi Leyi replied.
“Oh,” Yuan Zhong said, then sat quietly by her side, watching.
Qi Leyi started her game, playing with great focus, but in Yuan Zhong’s eyes, her skills were mediocre at best, and her game sense was sorely lacking.
After one round, Qi Leyi went for another, and then started a third. Yuan Zhong gently reminded her again.
