Qi Ming speculated that since the watch only scanned the head of the Diga statue that had been knocked off, the data he collected was incomplete. The Ultraman Diga form he transformed into was therefore an incomplete version. Not only could he not change forms, but the transformation could only last one and a half minutes. Originally planning to take down all three monsters at once, he had to change his strategy.

“Roar!” The three monsters, battered and bruised from the first clash, saw the colorful timer flashing on Diga’s chest and instantly regained their morale, their killing instincts reignited. Time was tight, and Qi Ming charged at the three monsters. Holding an ice axe, he struck downward and slashed in a reverse cut at Melba’s left claw, nearly chopping it off. After dodging Melba’s agonized scream, he charged at the Golzan following closely behind and slammed into it with a powerful shoulder tackle, then grabbed its arm and flung it aside.

Garula, the last of the three, was chosen as his target. Garula roared and fired an orange heat ray from the horn on its head, blocking Diga’s advance. Qi Ming rolled left to dodge, then dropped to the ground to find the right shooting angle. Forming an “L” shape with his hands, he released a simplified version of the Zaperio Beam aimed at the only spot on Garula not covered by its tough skin—its throat.

“Bang!” The Zaperio Beam pierced through Garula’s throat to the back of its head. The monster stiffened, then collapsed heavily. After firing this attack, Diga’s energy was nearly depleted and could only last for a few more seconds. But Qi Ming did not retreat; instead, he adopted a predator’s fierce stance and closed in on Golzan and Melba.

“Roar…” Melba trembled and retreated. Golzan, also frightened, swiftly dug into the ground to escape, trying to “rest in peace.” Following Golzan’s lead, Melba spread its wings and fled toward the edge of the horizon. “They’re trying to escape, chase them!” Seven, struggling to catch his breath from the ground, urged.

Qi Ming thought to himself, Seven must understand what it means when the colorful timer on Diga’s chest turns red. It seemed that the difficult demands Captain Moroboshi always made were beginning to show their downside… “Unfortunately, today ends here. In the next moment, Diga vanished like a streak of ink washed away by water. He reverted to Qi Ming. Although he hadn’t completely eliminated the enemies, the crisis was temporarily averted. Seven also ended his transformation.
